Rebuilding trust in goat milk formula, one feeding at a time

A goat milk formula brand had the science on its side but needed parents to trust it before they'd ever open the tin.

The challenge

Kabrita makes goat milk-based infant formula — a category most parents have never heard of, up against a shelf dominated by cow milk brands with decades of category education behind them. The product had real advantages: naturally easier to digest, close to breast milk's fat structure, backed by clinical research. None of it mattered if a first-time parent scrolling at 2 a.m. didn't trust it enough to try.

The brand also had to speak to two very different audiences in the same breath: pediatricians who needed the clinical case, and parents who needed reassurance, not a data sheet.

We split the story into two tracks that reinforced each other instead of competing. For pediatricians and specialists, we built a content library grounded in the clinical research — digestibility studies, protein structure comparisons, real language they could repeat to patients with confidence.

For parents, we translated that same science into something that felt like a knowledgeable friend, not a lab report. Less "A2 beta-casein protein structure," more "closer to what nature intended, easier on tiny stomachs." We leaned on real feeding stories, transparent sourcing content, and a visual identity warm enough to sit next to a crib instead of a clinic.

We also rebuilt the purchase journey around the moments of doubt — the pause before switching formulas, the search for "is this safe" — meeting parents there with direct, unhedged answers instead of marketing copy.

Kabrita now shows up in the two places that matter most: in the pediatrician's recommendation and in the parent's search results at the exact moment they're deciding. The dual-track content strategy gave both audiences what they needed without diluting either message, and repeat purchase rates climbed as parents moved from trial to trust.

The brand has since used the same playbook to enter new markets, with the core narrative — rigorously backed, genuinely gentle — traveling intact across each launch.
